When owner James Plumlee started Picker Joe’s Antique Mall & Vintage Market over 10 years ago, he never envisioned it would grow the way it has. What started as just a hobby selling vintage aviation items at the Wright Square Vintage and Retro Mall has blossomed into one of Georgia’s most well-known antique destinations.
And now its even bigger, with a new location at 66 W. Montgomery Cross Road opening nearly a year after the doors closed on its longtime location in Starland on E. 41st Street, a location that they loved, but both grew out of and got squeezed out of because of the growth of the area.
One of the reasons they began looking for another space for Picker Joe’s was parking. Or lack thereof…
