Ariyana Braxton, radiation therapy student at Georgia Southern University’s Waters College of Health Professions and native of Savannah, has been selected to participate in the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Student to Leadership Development Program. This competitive three-year initiative is designed to cultivate future leaders in medical imaging and radiation therapy. Braxton is one of three students representing the state of Georgia at the national level.
The Student to Leadership Development Program provides selected students with opportunities to attend educational sessions, engage in national conferences and build meaningful mentorship relationships with professionals in the field. The program is designed to strengthen students’ leadership abilities while expanding their professional networks.
