In a small town like Springfield, nothing goes unnoticed. So, it is no surprise that a small commercial district across from Parker’s Kitchen on Highway 21 has caught the eyes of residents.
Sonny Patel, who owns the property, says Wayback Burgers and Little Caesars Pizza are expected to open in May. Springfield Liquor, which opened March 5 and Care Plus, an urgent care facility that recently opened, are also located on the same parcel.
“I am really excited to see everything fill up and get going,” said Patel. “I thought it was going to take a while. We got a good response from [the community]. We have a lot of Mexican restaurants in Springfield but nothing variety wise. Little Caesars is budget friendly.”…
