Chatham County is holding an Electric Vehicle Planning Virtual Session on March 24 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM via Microsoft Teams. The session will discuss the county’s project to identify areas most in need of EV charging infrastructure, including high-density workforce nodes, hurricane evacuation routes, medical facilities, and low-income communities.
The project, supported by a grant from the Southeast Crescent Regional Commission, aims to expand EV infrastructure and workforce training in partnership with a local college.
