Lyndy Brannen Exits WRHQ After 32 Year Run

Longtime Savannah personality Lyndy Brannen has exited middays at Bradley Creek Broadcasting Classic Rock “Q105.3” WRHQ Richmond Hill GA after an over three decade run.

Brannen, who also provided newscasts during the station’s morning show from his home studio, shared on Facebook that he was informed on Tuesday that he was being fired after being part of the station since 1994 due to financial issues at the station. Brannen has been a staple in the Savannah market since the 1970 at the age of 15 previously working at stations including 1400 WSGA and “Z102” WZAT.
