Jasper County, the rural, sparsely-populated zone separating the Hilton Head Island area from the Georgia border, is once again the fastest-growing county in the U.S.
Data released Thursday by the U.S. Census Bureau show Jasper was the fastest-growing county in the U.S. by percentage growth. The population rose by 6% between July 1, 2024 and July 1, 2025.
