SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Blue lights were flashing at Daffin Park Saturday afternoon for the Savannah Police Department’s annual Easter Eggstravaganza.
Hundreds of parents and children got together at Forsyth Park to enjoy a day full of games, food and fun. Children of all ages got to participate in three different egg hunts with 10,000 eggs and 50 golden egg prizes.
SPD Chief Lenny Gunther reflected on the event and said that events like these are what let people “see the heart behind the badge.”…
