Repairs and upgrades are underway at Melrose Landing on Daufuskie Island as part of Beaufort County’s effort to keep facilities safe and in good shape. Work by O’Quinn Marine began on March 31, 2026, and should take about a week, depending on weather and supplies.
The landing will stay open during construction, but ferry passengers should use caution when getting on or off the Lowcountry Ferry. Expect to see workers and equipment at the site…
