90 families remain in Yamacraw Village as HUD demolition decision remains unclear

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The Housing Authority of Savannah is still waiting on a decision from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on its demolition application for Yamacraw Village, with no timeline set.

The agency said in a March 30 release it remains in compliance with federal requirements during the redevelopment process.
