Officer Rhodes recently suffered a stroke that has left him significantly incapacitated. This unexpected health challenge has brought ongoing medical needs, extensive therapy, and financial strain for him and his family. As we continue to pray and trust God for his healing, we also recognize that this journey requires steady care, encouragement, and support.
For many years, Officer Rhodes has faithfully served our communities. As a dedicated Lieutenant in both Savannah and Brunswick, an army veteran, and a committed servant of God, he has touched countless lives. Many know him as “Coppa Claus,” the officer in the blue Santa suit who spent twenty-five years delivering Christmas gifts – and the love of Christ – to children and families across Chatham, Effingham, and Bryan Counties.
