SAVANNAH, Ga (WSAV) – Good morning – StormTeam 3 Meteorologist Alysa Carsley here. Let’s have a fabulous Monday!
After a warm and somewhat sunny Easter weekend, it cools down with a few stray showers each day for this new work week. Yesterday’s cold front is sitting just to our south while still pulling in showers from the Gulf coast. This allows for a low chance of rain continuing through the day. Highs will be much cooler! Easter Sunday had a high of 88°. Today’s high will be around 20° cooler, only in the upper 60s to low 70s.
Over the next few days, our weather pattern will not change much. Our area will be sandwiched between high pressure around the northeast and a stalled front across central Florida. A breezy northeast wind will increase in between the two with gusts up to 20-25mph. Coastal showers will likely move onshore through mid-week as this pattern continues. Not everyone will see rain. Most of us will see a partly to mostly cloudy sky. Highs remain around average in the low to mid 70s…
