SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Happy Easter! Hope everyone was an Egg-celent day!
We’re off to a nice, dry start for the first half of the day, so if you have outdoor egg hunts, church services, or brunch plans, the weather is looking good. It will be a bit breezy, but warm, with highs reaching the mid 80s early this afternoon ahead of an approaching cold front. Clouds will increase later this afternoon and into the evening. We’re tracking a few scattered showers and even a rumble of thunder moving through the area from mid to late afternoon and into tonight. If you’ll be outside for the second half of Easter, be sure to keep an umbrella handy.
the cold front, cooler air moves in for Monday. A few lingering showers are possible during the first half of the day, but clouds will gradually give way to some sunshine by the afternoon. Highs will be cooler than average, in the low 70s. Temperatures rebound slightly on Tuesday into the mid 70s ahead of another dry cold front, which reinforces cooler air into Wednesday. By midweek, highs drop back into the low 70s and remain there through Thursday.
By Friday, temperatures begin to climb again into the upper 70s as high pressure builds in, reaching the low 80s by Saturday. Overall, it’ll be a cooler, more refreshing week compared to last week across the region…
