2 men arrested in connection with Beaufort County shooting

BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) — Two suspects were arrested and charged in connection with a shooting last week.

Jamori Allen, 25, is charged with two counts of malicious injury to property, aggravated breach of peace and possession of a machine gun. Jamarion Brant, 25, is charged with two counts of first-degree assault and battery, malicious injury to property, aggravated breach of peace and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

Deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of shots fired at the Hispanic Grocery and Deli at the 2700 block of Trask Parkway in Gray’s Hill on March 30. Victims said a person’s vehicle and a house were struck in a shooting between two suspects. Deputies said no injuries were reported.

Deputies executed a search warrant at Allen’s house on Thursday. During the search, they located multiple weapons and a large quantity of marijuana. Deputies later located Allen and placed him under arrest…
