POOLER, Ga. (WSAV) — A newly passed bill could allow police stations, fire stations and hospitals to install Safe Haven Baby Boxes.
Safe Haven laws in Georgia currently require parents to place their newborn directly in the arms of a medical professional, police officer or firefighter without any penalty. This bill, passed last week, would make that even easier.
The baby must be younger than 30 days old…
