Organizers of local horse therapy farm in search for donations

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Volunteers at a therapeutic horseback riding farm in Savannah told WSAV on Thursday they’re facing financial setbacks.

Peggi Noon, organizer of Pegasus Riding Academy, hosts more than 40 equestrian riders for five-week sessions throughout the year.

Noon said horse back riding is now considered a “traditional” therapy and can help people facing a variety of mental, physical and emotional obstacles, like veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), victims of sexual assault and children with disabilities…
