Storm Team 3: Rain chances continue to end the weekend

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – A stalled cold front will linger over the area today, keeping the extra cloud cover around. Even with the clouds, it’ll stay warm with highs in the mid 80s. We’ll have a chance for isolated showers and a few storms, so it’s a good idea to keep an umbrella nearby. While we could really use the rain, coverage will be spotty…meaning some areas may not see much at all.

As the front dips south tonight, cooler air moves in with lows falling into the 50s. Tomorrow will be noticeably cooler, with highs in the mid 70s and drier conditions under a partly cloudy sky.

By Tuesday, we start to warm back up into the lower 80s ahead of our next system. Another cold front arrives Wednesday, bringing increasing clouds and the chance for scattered showers and storms through Thursday.

Behind that front, cooler air returns to end the week. Highs drop back into the 70s Friday and Saturday, with Friday looking drier before rain chances increase again into Saturday…
