Savannah Teacher Arrested on Child Molestation Charges

SAVANNAH, Ga. — A 35-year-old teacher has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged inappropriate relationship with a student, according to the Savannah Police Department.

Paulina Zoe Walden, a Chatham County educator, was taken into custody May 1 and charged with improper sexual contact with a student and child molestation. Walden was working as a teacher at Jenkins High School

Police said the investigation began April 24 after the Savannah-Chatham County Board of Education Police Department reported allegations involving a teacher and a student. School officials reassigned Walden to a non-school location with no student contact once the allegations surfaced…
