BURTON, Sc. (WTOC) – Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a man Friday morning after investigators say he shot a woman during a domestic altercation at Magnolia Park Apartments in Burton.
According to the sheriff’s office, 37-year-old Jason Aiken faces charges including domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, and unlawful possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent offense.
Deputies responded shortly before 6 a.m. Friday to reports of a gunshot victim at Magnolia Park Apartments. While responding, investigators learned the people involved had left the area in a vehicle, possibly to seek medical treatment…
