Nearly two years after a fatal Savannah hit-and-run, a woman has been formally charged with homicide by vehicle and other offenses.
The Savannah Police Department posted a photo of a white car on Sept. 10, 2024, asking for the public’s help in identifying the vehicle who was involved in a hit and run two days prior.
The victim, 37-year-old Jonathan Dover, was riding his bike near Bull Street and Derenne Avenue around 3:30 a.m. when he was hit. He was provided initial medical assistance and transported to Memorial Hospital where he later died of his injuries…
