SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Eligible women can soon receive mammograms at no cost in Savannah.
The Chatham County Health Department’s midtown clinic will bring the St. Joseph’s/Candler mobile mammography unit bus on Tuesday, May 26, to provide no-cost mammograms to eligible women. This will take place on 1602 Drayton Street in Savannah from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Eligible women must be 40 years old or older and must not have health insurance coverage. Women under 40 may get screened if there are identified problems, suspicion or symptoms of breast cancer…
