It is not my first choice to set traffic records on this website because of bad news, but alas here we are……
*The news last week that River Street’s Olympia Cafe would not be returning to the location they held for 30 years was the one of the worst kept secrets in town. Once the City of Savannah realized that they had no tenants to execute the lease they had given Olympia last year, it was time to move on. They did so in the form of a press release. *The news, of course, is not all bad. There will be a Greek restaurant opening down the street from the former Olympia location. We were first to report that last week. You can see that full story here…
