PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A Phoenix man is facing charges after police say he tried to light his apartment on fire when he was to .
According to court paperwork, 29-year-old Christopher Everhart is accused of lighting three separate fires at the Alta Vista Village Apartments near 39th and Grand avenues.
The first fire occurred on March 4 in the leasing office’s drop box. Everhart allegedly admitted to lighting a piece of paper on fire and intentionally putting it into the drop box after he was given eviction paperwork.
