PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Another mild day is on tap when it comes to Valley temperatures. We’ll start the month of July with morning temperatures in the 70s, climbing to just 102 degrees this afternoon. That’s five degrees below normal for today’s date.
Expect sunshine and light winds in the Valley, with a High Pollution Advisory in effect today for ozone. Residents are encouraged to limit their time outside today, especially children, the elderly and anyone with respiratory issues, including asthma.
Winds will stay elevated today in the high country, although they should generally be a bit lighter than the last few days. A Red Flag Warning is no longer in effect. Winds will likely be closer to 10 to 15 miles per hour, gusting to 25 miles per hour. Low relative humidity, combined with the breeziness means fire danger is still extremely high…
