Showers and storms were making their way into the Valley from the east on Monday night, weather officials warned.
The National Weather Service (NWS) for Phoenix said the activity was making its way toward Phoenix metro around 7:30 p.m. It warned residents in the East Valley about wind gusts of up to 30-50 mph.
