MESA, (3TV/CBS 5) — A portion of a busy East Valley freeway has reopened after being closed throughout Sunday morning. According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the eastbound lanes of the Loop 202 Red Mountain in Mesa were shut down at Alma School Road due to a law enforcement incident. The freeway was closed for roughly six hours but reopened just before 9 a.m.
