MESA, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) – The next time you get pulled over in Mesa, you may get a coupon instead of a citation for a busted headlight, tail light, or turn signal. It’s part of a nationwide program called Lights On! The Mesa Police Department is the first agency in Arizona to join in. Lights On! started in 2016 after Philando Castile was shot and killed after initially being pulled over for having his tail light out.
