Stephen A. Smith Reveals Major Update Regarding Kevin Durant’s Next Team

The Phoenix Suns haven’t shown interest publicly in trading star forward Kevin Durant, but per a recent report from ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, that isn’t the way the team is feeling privately.

Trade speculation exploded on Tuesday night after the blockbuster trade that sent Brooklyn Nets forward Mikal Bridges to the New York Knicks for Bojan Bogdanovic.

Along with that trade, the Nets announced they also made a deal that sent the Houston Rockets a 2025 first-round pick swap, 2027 first-round pick and “the rights to the two most favorable of the Dallas, Phoenix and Houston first round picks in 2029.”

The Rockets adding to their haul of picks had some wondering if they would consider making a move on a superstar talent like Durant. And if they were interested, would the Suns actually move on from the perennial All-Star?

“Pay no attention to what Phoenix is saying. They want out of Kevin Durant right now. Also, Houston doesn’t want Kevin Durant,” Smith said on ESPN’s “First Take.”
