DPC Development Company Gets Green Light to Build Mixed-Use Apartment Complex from the Scottsdale City Board

The city of Scottsdale gave Denver-based DPC Development Company the go-ahead to build a 189-unit and 79,200 feet of existing commercial space apartment complex on roughly 8.5 acres at 7000 E. Shea Blvd. and to be known fully as Cosanti Commons, previously known as Sundown Commons. DPC wanted to recognize famed Arizona artist Paoli Soleri with the project name and an art gallery on the site of its newest apartment community.

DPC Development Company is partnering with Trammell Crow subsidiary High Street Residential to develop the apartments. ESG is the architect, and the Sustainability Engineering Group is the civil engineer.

The existing retail center at the site has 33% vacancy…
