Memorial Day BBQ in Phoenix raises money for veterans experiencing homelessness

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Frasher’s Smokehouse in Phoenix hosted a Memorial Day barbeque with a specific purpose Monday: to raise money for the Home of Record Project.

“If we can help veterans who are currently struggling that’s the best way we can honor those who have come before us and paid the ultimate sacrifice,” says Gary Schell. He formed the charity to help veterans struggling with housing.
