ProjectUmbrella provides care packages that include hygiene kits and seasonal essentials for the unhoused. Water bottles, sunscreen, cooling towels, and informational cards about heat stroke prevention and hydration are included. Phoenix Rescue Mission launched its 13th annual Code: Red Summer Heat Relief Campaign to help the homeless population and at-risk individuals during the summer. Through August 31, PRM asks the public to start water and food drives and for assistance with monetary donations, which they will match up to $150,000.
