The month of June marked several milestones in Scottsdale’s history as we celebrate the McDowell Sonoran Preserve.
Today, all 30,500 acres, or 48 square miles — more than 25% of our city’s total acreage — is fully owned by the citizens of Scottsdale. This vast expanse of pristine Sonoran Desert, a treasure beyond measure, belongs to the people of Scottsdale.
