Success for Thomas Road in Scottsdale

Sometimes the squeaky wheel does get the grease.

In a contentious vote earlier this year, a slim council majority forfeited $31M in guaranteed federal dollars for a road project in North Scottsdale. This left residents with the bill and a longer timeframe to contend with a dangerous road construction project. It also diminished funds to fix potholes citywide.
