Scottsdale clinic helps teens with screen addiction as schools ban phones

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — As kids head back to school, a new law placing limits on cellphone use in schools is in the spotlight, taking full effect for the first time.

Mental health experts say some kids suffer from phone addiction. As phones are locked away, some kids could go through withdrawal symptoms.

Phone addiction isn’t an official diagnosis yet.
