PHOENIX (AZFamily) — It’s officially fall, but the triple-digit temperatures aren’t going away for the rest of the year quite yet.
The summer of 2025 was the fourth hottest on record in Phoenix, and this is the last whole week that heat relief sites across the city are scheduled to be open.
It will take a few more months for the city of Phoenix and Maricopa County officials to review all the data and assess how effective their heat relief efforts this summer were, but at this point, it’s looking better than the last couple of years…
