2 rescued from cars trapped in flooded Phoenix wash

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Two people were pulled out of their cars after getting trapped in a flooded wash Saturday night.

Around 7 p.m., Phoenix Fire crews responded to a wash near 40th Street and Stanford Drive for reports of multiple vehicles stuck in a wash with high-flowing water.

When crews arrived, they worked to rescue two people from the cars. Neither of them was seriously injured…
