Higley parents react to override defeat

Higley Unified parents showed up at last week’s Governing Board meeting to voice support for cherished programs now at risk for reductions following the recent voter rejection of the district’s override.

The district is facing a second round of $5 million in cuts to next school year’s budget after voters defeated its 15% maintenance and operations budget override.
