Nine East Valley School Districts today announced they are suing the East Valley Institute of Technology over a long-running dispute about the money they say they’re entitled to for running Career and Technical Education programs on their high school campuses.
The suit, which was announced by a public relations firm but not yet officially recorded Monday with Maricopa County Superior Court, states millions of dollars are at stake as a result of their failure to reach new intergovernmental agreements (IGA) with EVIT for the current school year.
