GILBERT, AZ (AZFamily) — Court documents have revealed new details into the investigation of a recent shooting at a Gilbert home that left a teen boy critically injured.
Rael Jose Sanchez, 22, is accused of shooting his stepsister’s boyfriend last weekend.
Shortly before 8 p.m. on Saturday, Gilbert police responded to a home on Deerfield Lane, in a neighborhood southeast of Warner and Recker roads. The 911 caller told the dispatcher that a 16-year-old boy had been shot and was unconscious, and reported hearing a vehicle speeding away.
Officers arrived and found the wounded teen lying in the dining room area of the home. He was rushed to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the neck, where he remains in critical condition…
