The woman charged with more than 30 counts tied to the abuse and neglect of 55 dogs, some of which were found dead, pleaded guilty to four felony counts in Maricopa County Superior Court.
Police searched the Chandler home of April McLaughlin in September 2023 and found dozens of dogs living in poor conditions that required medical care. Five dogs were found dead and stored in a freezer, authorities said.
