TEMPE, Ariz. — Law enforcement agencies across the Valley are on high alert for drunk and dangerous driving on New Year’s Eve, with a major DUI enforcement operation underway in Tempe.
East Valley police departments from Tempe, Mesa, Scottsdale, and other cities gathered near Arizona State University as part of a coordinated effort to target suspected impaired drivers. The operation is based at the East Valley DUI Task Force command center, where officers process drivers suspected of driving under the influence.
