2 dogs dead, 3 people hospitalized after early-morning apartment fire in Phoenix

PHOENIX – Two dogs were killed in a Phoenix apartment fire that sent three people, including a police officer, to the hospital on Wednesday morning, authorities said.

Crews were dispatched to a structure fire at 2333 W. Glenrosa Avenue, near Interstate 17 and Indian School Road, around 5 a.m. and found smoke coming from a single-story apartment building, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.

They deployed hand lines and attacked the flames to prevent the fire from spreading to other units…
