PHOENIX – Discount grocer Aldi plans to open dozens of new stores in metro Phoenix over the next five years as part of an aggressive U.S. expansion.
The supermarket chain, which originated in Germany, announced plans Monday to open 180 stores across 31 states in 2026, its 50th anniversary of U.S. operations.
