CHANDLER, AZ (AZFamily) — A student walkout protesting ICE in Chandler turned tense Friday afternoon and a girl ended up getting arrested for allegedly throwing a water bottle at a masked man.
Officers said they were there to keep an eye on student safety near Hamilton High School when, during the march, they noticed a masked man armed with a handgun show up and verbally confront some of the demonstrators.
Police said during his verbal arguments, a teen girl threw a water bottle at the man. He said he wanted to press charges so she was arrested on assault and disorderly conduct charges, detectives said…
