Chef Matt Carter’s popular, modern Latin restaurant now has a home in the East Valley. The Mission’s third location is now open at Gilbert’s Epicenter at Agritopia.
The Mission, which has locations in Old Town Scottsdale and Kierland Commons, is known for its candle-lit, mission-style ambiance and signature tableside guacamole, whole-roasted pig brunch and an agave-centered bar program.
The expansion to Gilbert was announced on social media in December 2024. At Epicenter, Carter’s restaurant succeeds the Asian fusion restaurant Belly, which shuttered at the end of 2024. Originally, The Mission was anticipated to open in late 2025. Now, the restaurant is ready to welcome diners…
