The Gilbert Police Department (GPD) was alerted at 5:35 p.m. local time of a child, whose identity is not public, drowning in a backyard pool in a Gilbert neighborhood, KGW 8. There, the first responders administered life-saving measures and then rushed the child to a nearby hospital.
