Mesa man finds little help with howling dog

Anthony Aquino’s forever home in northeast Mesa has become a forever nightmare.

Almost immediately after he and his spouse, William Delia, moved into the Salerno Ranch neighborhood in 2022, they began trying to put up with the howling from two hybrid wolf-dogs owned by their next-door neighbor. The man now has one dog.

“The first year I didn’t want to complain,” Aquino said. “Being the new neighbor, I’m like,’ Oh my gosh, you don’t want to make a bad impression.’ And then I don’t want to be like a Karen.”

But the couple soon reached their breaking point…
