Edmonds-Woodway HS celebrates its graduates with sunny ceremony Friday night

The sun was shining on Edmonds-Woodway High School graduates Friday night as family members and friends joined staff members in celebrating the Class of 2026 at Edmonds District Stadium.

Graduates entered to Pomp and Circumstance, followed by the Star-Spangled Banner and What Are You Doing The Rest of Your Life, performed by EWHS musicians and led by Edmonds-Woodway Director of Bands Jake Bergevin.

The first student speaker, selected by the senior class, was ASB President Kailani Terwilliger. She was followed by faculty speaker Michael Simon, a Career and Technical Education Business and Marketing teacher.

Then, the Edmonds-Woodway High School Mello-Aires, under the direction of Charlotte Reese, performed Pennies from Heaven, arranged by E-W Class of 2026 graduate Luca Hume.

Joy Yoo, senior class vice president, was the second student to speak, chosen by the EWHS faculty.
