CHELAN — Tsillan Cellars, a Lake Chelan winery founded more than 25 years ago by Dr. Bob Jankelson, has been acquired by a group of local investors led by Manson residents Ronan and Gillian Walsh.
The transaction became effective June 30 and includes the Tsillan Cellars estate and winery operations in Lake Chelan, Sorrento’s Restaurant and the winery’s tasting room in Woodinville. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Jankelson, who founded the winery and developed it into one of the region’s best-known wine destinations, will remain involved with the business as an ambassador. According to the announcement, he will continue working with the winery team, wine club and community…
