Rowley Properties, Inc., and the city of Issaquah announced yesterday that popular electric-car manufacturer Rivian is opening a new vehicle showroom and service facility at Hyla Crossing.
Taking over the lease from the former Evergreen Ford dealership at 1500 18th Ave. NW, the facility is expected to be open to the public by spring 2027.
“Rivian’s arrival reflects exactly the kind of forward-looking investment Issaquah wants to attract,” said Issaquah Mayor Mark Mullet in a press release. “It brings new jobs, new services for residents, and another vote of confidence in our community from a company that shares our commitment to sustainability.”…
