Seattle’s neighborhood-walking scene is getting another chance to stretch its legs this fall. The Seattle Super Saunter is bringing back its Phinney-Fremont-Ballard route on October 11, this time with a new name inspired by one of the city’s most famous recent animal residents: the raccoon known as Jimothy.
The 10-mile Jimothy Jaunt is organized by Holden Minor Ringer, founder of the Seattle Super Saunter. Ringer started the group after walking across the country in 2024, from La Push, Washington, to New Haven, Connecticut. Since then, he’s organized a series of long neighborhood strolls around the region.
